Beacon is normally open Monday through Friday, January through December, with holiday breaks scheduled to coincide with the LaPorte School District Calendar. A yearly calendar of events and closings is published in May or June each year.

The School will normally open during the regular school term at 6:00 a.m. and close at 6:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except on previously announced school holidays. Hours may be shortened based on parental needs.

Formal morning classes will begin at 8:15 a.m. and end at 11:15 a.m., with scheduled Vacation Breaks. Grade School Classes run from 8:15 to 2:30 or 3:00. Parents are expected to bring and pick up their children on time. Children should be walking out the door by their registered pick-up time. A charge will be asseseed for late  pick-up after registered pick-up times. Summer hours and programs vary and will be announced each spring.
